Best Christmas Gifts: The Mindflex Game

We've all played games that require the roll of dice or
picking up cards in order to accomplish something. How
about something innovative and unique for a change? For
instance, a game where you move objects with your mind?
Now that sounds interesting! And you have it with the
Mindflex Game. It's so different that you'll want to
play it if out of nothing else but curiosity.

The object of the game is simple: move a ball through an
obstacle course using mind control and concentration.
Intrigued? Well, you should be because it is probably
unlike anything you have ever encountered.

The obstacle course is, in itself, unique in that the
layout and its components can be interchanged. This
gives you hundreds of possible setups for your choosing.
There are a total of five separate games that can be
played on the board and 3 different skill levels to
challenge you, as you get better.

The headset has three built-in sensors in the headband-
1 in the front against the forehead and one on each temple.
Hanging down below each sensor on the sides are small
clips that attach to your earlobes (they are very delicate
so don't woory, they do not hurt). The purpose behind
the headset and the clips is because you are measuring
brain activity and concentration, or more specifically
brain waves.

It doesn't really matter what you are concentrating on
since the level of brain activity is the same, but it
would be helpful if you were using your concentration on
the game instead of something else.

A foam ball is placed in the starting position of the
game. There is dial that uses a small puff of air to
move the ball up slightly above the game board to get
you started, but it is up to you to move the ball up
and down using only your mind. Once you have mastered
the principles of concentrating to move the ball, your
goal is to maneuver it through the obstacles that have
been set up.

Out of the five games some of them will test your speed
of accomplishing the task. Another game gives you the
task of moving the ball up and through a funnel and then
over to score points. The game also rewards those with
an increased level of concentration and willingness to
succeed so the more effort you put into it the better
you will score.

The recommended age for this game is from 8 years and
up, with up to four players able to play at one time.
Adults will even find this game interesting due to its
bizarre nature. In fact, almost anyone who can strap on
a headset can enjoy it. The detailed instruction manual
gives you the breakdown of the game as well as various
relaxation and concentration techniques to help you out.

The Mindflex game is sure to be a favorite for kids and
even at parties. It's one of those gadgets that are
just really cool to play with.

All the best,
Laurie
